HO CHI MINH CITY (9 August 2012) – The Vietnam Under-19 team has chosen the cool highlands of Gia Lai as their base as they gear up for the AFF Under-19 Preparatory Tournament next month.
For the meet slated for 2-8 September 2012, Vietnam will clash against Iran, Uzbekistan and Australia.
Among the new inclusion for the Vietnam U19 squad is defender Nguyen Thai Sung – the first Vietnamese player to receive a three-year scholarship at the Aspire Academy in Qatar.
