SIX TEAMS FOR VIETNAM’S NATIONAL WOMEN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2009

The tournament is to be used to prepare the Vietnam national women’s football team for the qualifying round of the Asian Women’s Football Championship 2009 and also the 25th SEA Games in Laos in December.

The six teams which will be taking part this year are defending champions Hanoi, Vietnam Coal and Minerals, Hoa Hop-Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Nam and Thai Nguyen provinces.

The first-leg matches will take place in Thai Nguyen from 24 March to 11 April, 2009 while the second-leg will be held in Hanoi from 18 April to 6 May, 2009.
