| PHNOM PENH (7 Feb, 2008) – Royal Sword FC beat Naga Corp 3-1 in a friendly to inaugurate the opening of Samdech Hun Sen Svay Rompear High School in Sra Mor village, located in Svay Rieng province.
The school which is situated some 137km from Phnom Penh also has a new football field to encourage the younger players to pick up the game.
In the first friendly match which was played at Svay Rieng Province Town Stadium, Royal Sword FC took a 2-0 lead at the halfway mark with goals off
Royal Sword then completed their win with their third goal of the afternoon off Sam-el Naza in the 63rd minute.
Naga Corp FC’s only goal in the match came off a penalty conversion from Hok Sotithya three minutes to the end.
In the meantime in the second match, Tai Ninh FC of Vietnam were held to a scoreless draw by Lion Squad FC from Cambodia.
