SINGAPORE (4 Feb 2009) – With the S-League due to kick-off in less than two weeks, questions are rife on the status of Singapore international striker Indra Sahdan Daud.
Indra, who has been serving Home United faithfully for the past eight years, is without a team at the moment and is considering a move abroad if the opportunity, arises. “It is not as easy as getting an offer and sign a contract as I have to also seek the permission from my employers (the Singapore Police Force) before I can make any commitment,” said the 29-year-old Indra. While admitting that he has received an offer from Sengkang Punggol FC, he said that he still hopes to play for Home United for the new season which will begin on 16 Feb. In the meantime, international defender Precious Emuejeraye has signed with Woodlands Wellington FC after his contract with Gombak United FC was not renewed. Young international striker Fazrul Nawas on the other hand, switched to Gombak United FC from Geylang United FC. |
