PICH SANA GIVES NAGA CORP VALUABLE WIN

PHNOM PENH (27 June 2008) – An opportunistic strike six minutes to the end from Pich Sana gave Naga Corp FC a valuable 1-0 win over National Defense Ministry FC in the Cambodia Premier League at the National Olympic Stadium.

Naga Corp, who had lost their last match against Khemara Keila FC, were up against a defend-minded Defense Ministry and the late strike from Sana (84th minute) would prove pivotal as it allowed them to improve their position in the lower half of the league table.

In the meantime, Preah Khan Reach FC scored a close 2-1 victory over Phuchung Neak FC – with the winner provided by Kao Kiri in the 75th minute.

Sam El Naza’s 16th minute effort for Preah Khan was cancelled out by Hok Sochivorn in the 54th minute.
