| JAKARTA (18 Feb, 2008) – Indonesian national Under-16 head coach Cesar Payovich remains positive even after the team’s latest 3-1 loss to Uruguayan side Liverpool FC.
The Indonesian youth side, which are on a playing tour of Uruguay this month, lost their first game to River Plate FC the previous week.
But this time round against Liverpool FC – which fielded both their U17 and then the U16 in either half – the visitors scored their first goal of their playing tour off Rinaldi Gunapradiptha.
Rinaldi was a last minute inclusion into the match against Liverpool following regular striker Finky Pasamba’s failure of a fitness test and the lad did well to score with a header off a cross from Alfin Tuasalamony.
“Good game,” quipped Payovich afterwards.
