| PHNOM PENH (2 June 2009) – On the day when Naga Corp FC got back to their winning ways to blast Phouchung Neak FC 5-2, Preah Khan Reach FC had an own goal to thank for their slim win over Post Tel Club FC.
Naga Corp, who have been struggling to put some semblance of being a serious outfit for the Cambodia Premier League crown this year, were quicker on the draw when they struck twice through N. Friday in the 13th minute and Meas Channa in the 29th minute.
Ouk Thoun then pulled a goal back for Phouchung in the 39th minute as O. S. Patric then added the third goal for Naga to be 3-1 in front at the break.
In the 74th minute, Neang Chenla gave Naga Corp a three-goal cushion with the fourth goal as Pao Samnang then gave Phouchung a glimmer of hope with the team’s second goal a minute later.
But just when Phouchung thought that they could draw some inspiration for at least the one point, Patric slammed home his second goal of the evening and Naga Corp’s fifth in the 78th minute.
In the meantime, Preah Khan Reach FC had an own goal off Sot Sotheavy two minutes to the end for the win over Post Tel and the three points in a game which was evenly balanced.
