HO CHI MINH CITY (15 November 2025) – The Vietnam Futsal team is in their final phase of preparation for the 33rd SEA Games next month in Thailand.
Head coach Diego Giustozzi has called on the tried and tested players like Trần Thái Huy, Nguyễn Minh Trí and Phạm Đức Hòa, who were instrumental in Vietnam’s historic journey to the FIFA Futsal World Cup final round in 2016.
Backed by a strong performance at the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup qualifiers, the team will head to Thailand full of confidence.
For the 33rd SEA Games, Vietnam will be up against host Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Myanmar in a round-robin format.
