BANGKOK (3 August 2023) – The much-awaited AFF Under-23 Championship will kick off in two weeks with 10 countries set to do battle in Rayong, a city on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand.
Given the quality of the competition in 2022, this year’s meet will no doubt bring about the best of the up-and-coming talents from the region.
Vietnam will no doubt be out to defend the title they won last year as they plan their strategy against the likes of the Philippines and Laos in Group C.
Losing finalists and host Thailand are in Group A with Cambodia, Brunei DS and Myanmar.
Group B has last year’s surprise package Timor Leste, Malaysia and Indonesia.
