
JAKARTA (18 December 2025) – The ASEAN Championship, the jewel in the crown for Southeast Asia’s national teams and now named the ASEAN Hyundai Cup™ 2026 after its new title partner, will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year when the region’s 11 national teams face off for the coveted title of Champions of ASEAN from July 24 to August 26, 2026.
The 2024 edition which culminated with Vietnam crowned kings of ASEAN following a 5-3 aggregate victory over Thailand in the final, achieved a record 541+ million viewers on television and digital streaming platforms while social media channels Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X registered nearly 13 billion views of event-related videos.
At the Official Draw for the Hyundai Cup™ 2026, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam will be drawn into two groups for the group stage. Brunei Darussalam and Timor Leste which will play-off in a Qualifying Round for the 10th place in the competition, will be drawn to determine the host of each home-and-away match.
The Hyundai Cup™ 2026 Official Draw will be broadcast live with the list of broadcasters to be announced at a later date.
