BANGKOK (7 September 2025) – A second-half strike from Mohanad Ali Kadhim Al Shammari gave Iraq a narrow 1-0 win over host Thailand in the final of the King’s Cup 2025 at the Kanchanaburi Provincial Stadium tonight.
With the score tied at the end of a keen first half, Mohanad Ali slipped in the winner in the 75th minute to give Iraq only their second King’s Cup title since 2023.
