BUKIT JALIL (4 September 2025) – A goal in each half was enough for Malaysia to see off Singapore 2-1 in a friendly that was played tonight at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
Stuart Wilkin nailed the opener from close in the 27th minute before Joao Figueiredo doubled the advantage for the home team in the nine minutes after the restart.
Ilhan Fandi pulled a goal back in the 72nd minute for Singapore to narrow the gap but just a tad too late for a revival.
