SINGAPORE (27 November 2025) – A 23-strong Singapore Women’s National Team has been named for FIFA ‘A’ International matches against Seychelles in November, and December’s Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Chonburi, Thailand.
The first fixture, on Tuesday, 25 Nov, will be held behind closed doors, while the second takes place at Bukit Gombak Stadium on Friday, 28 Nov. These matches mark Singapore’s first encounter with Seychelles – an archipelago of 115 islands off the east coast of Africa – in three years, and serve as the Lionesses’ final preparation ahead of the SEA Games.
Head Coach Karim Bencherifa has called up several players with SEA Games experience, including members of the Lion City Sailors who recently returned from an admirable Asian Women’s Champions League group-stage campaign — Syazwani Ruzi, Umairah Hamdan, Nurhidayu Naszri, and Dhaniyah Qasimah.
