SINGAPORE (6 September 2026) – Ilhan Fandi’s two first-half goals gave Lion City Sailors their fourth Singapore Community Shield in seven years.
The 23-year-old Singapore international found the back of the net in the 17th and 26th minute to give Lion City Sailors a 2-1 win over Tampines Rovers at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
The victory gave Lion City Sailors their fourth Community Shield title, after winning it for the first time in 2019 and again in 2022 and 2024.
