SINGAPORE (26 April 2026) – The Singapore Women’s National Team wrapped up their training camp in Kota Kinabalu recently, closing out the first international window under new Head Coach Mihoko Ishida.
Seven days, one shared objective: lay the groundwork for a new era of Lionesses football. For the players who made the trip, it was a week that would leave its mark — not just in what they learned on the pitch, but in what it meant to be there at all.
For Naureen Qadriyah, that meaning ran deep. The call-up had been a dream long before it became a reality, and when it finally arrived, she needed a moment just to take it in. “At first, it felt surreal,” the 17-year-old said. “I had to take a moment to process it.”
