CHONBURI (7 December 2025) – Indonesia beat Singapore 3-1 in the crucial tie of Group A, SEA Games 2025, to revive their hopes of a place in the semifinals of the Women’s Football event this year.
At the IPE Stadium in Chonburi, Singapore went ahead first in the 22nd minute through Farhanah Ruhaizat.
However, Indonesia did not give up, and they took just nine minutes to peg the game back on level, off right winger Isa Guusje Warps.
Claudia Alexandra Scheunemann, who plays as a forward for Eredivisie club Utrecht Vrouwen, then gave Indonesia the lead in the 62nd minute before Aulia Mabruroh completed the win (90th+5).
With the three points, Indonesia will now have to wait for the outcome of the match between host Thailand and Singapore on Wednesday to know if they stand the chance of a place in the next round.
Thailand lead Group A with the same three points but on better goal difference.
