SINGAPORE (24 July 2025) – The official match schedule for the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ 2025/26 season has been announced with Buriram United FC of Thailand kicking off their defence of the title with a home match against Malaysian giants Selangor FC on Wednesday, 20 August.
An exciting opening round of group games also features a meeting between last season’s semi-finalists BG Pathum United FC of Thailand and runners-up Công An Hà Nôi FC of Vietnam, and a cross-Causeway clash between the league champions of Malaysia and Singapore, Johor Darul Ta’zim FC and Lion City Sailors FC.
The group stage for the second edition of the Shopee Cup™ will take place from August 2025 to February 2026 and feature 12 national league champions and cup winners from across Southeast Asia vying for the honour of being crowned ASEAN Club Champions.
In addition to Buriram United, BG Pathum, Công An Hà Nôi, JDT, Lion City Sailors and Selangor, the teams which will compete in the group stage include V.League 1 champions Nam Định FC, Cambodian Premier League champions PKR Svay Rieng FC, Thai League 1 runners-up Bangkok United FC and Singapore Premier League runners-up Tampines Rovers FC.
They will be joined by the winners of qualifying round play-off matches between Kasuka FC of Brunei and DH Cebu FC from the Philippines, and Ezra FC of Laos and Myanmar’s Shan United FC, which will be played on the 8, 9 and 15 August.
