WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: HA NAM TAKE LEAD; VINATEX STEP UP AS SPONSOR
HANOI (23 April 2011) – Ha Nam took the lead in the Vietnam Women’s Football Championship 2011 when they collected the maximum points possible after three matches.
Following their earlier victories, Ha Nam beat Hanoi Trang An Two 2-0 this week to ensure that they are on track for their first ever crown.
In another match, Ho Chi Minh City were held to a goalless draw by Steel and Minerals Vietnam while Hanoi Trang An One edged Steel Thai Nguyen 1-0.
With the win, Hanoi Trang An One maintained their place on second at the table,
In the meantime, after some period of uncertainty, the Vietnam Women’s Football Championship 2011 finally welcomed a new sponsor in Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex).
Vinatex have yet to announce the exact amount of sponsorship on the table but it is believed that it will be around VND1 billion (USD50,000).
