Thailand will entertain Vietnam in the first leg final of the AFF Suzuki Cup with the return leg to be played four days later in Hanoi. And given the importance of the game as well as the visit by Abhisit, the local organisers have given due emphasis on security where they have modelled it after the Asian Cup 2007 when they played as one of four hosts in the preliminary round. The police personnel will be in charge of security and traffic at five entrances into the stadium, where they will be out to make sure that the more than 30,000 fans expected for the match will not face any difficulties. The Hua Mak Police station will be on standby where the Bomb squad and also the Canine unit will be in service two hours before the kick-off. Security will be in placed some four hours prior where Special Forces will also be stationed at VVIP areas.
