HANOI (26 Dec 2008) – Tickets for the second leg final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 at the My Dinh Stadium on Sunday will cost double.

The change in ticket pricing was made recently by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Vietnam Football Development (VFD) company, the distributor of tickets for football matches under the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008.

Vietnam will play Thailand in the second leg final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 with the hosts having a 2-1 advantage from the first leg in Bangkok.

The VFF have decided to nearly double the ticket price for the match compared to the first leg semi-final match between Vietnam and Singapore at the same venue.

The new pricing are VND300,000 (USD18), VND200,000 (USD12), VND150,000 (USD9) and VND100,000 (USD6).

According to VFD, more than 30,000 tickets will be sold, including 5,000 tickets via the ale.com website, 50% will be sold through ticket agents and 35% will be sold to organisations.

The aleale.com.vn website will begin providing tickets for the second-leg final match on December 24 (two tickets per one person).

VFF and VFD said they will initiate some improvements in selling tickets at agents in a bid to help football fans get easier access to tickets and prevent ticket scalping.
